Those who have done this, have a question...friend mentioned needing felt for his driver caps was gonna send him a picture of what to look for from the net and ran cross these...felt pads for bottom of furniture.

Haven't used that product for driver caps but have used it for magnet backs on full-range drivers. It is still attached.
...it should be soft...I would think...the stiffer the worser...
